FINE DINING

In order to economize, I've been eating mainly at little holes in the wall since I arrived. However, last night I had to opportunity to visit Modern Toilet, a Taipei restaurant with a glaringly obvious theme.

The menu consisted largely of curries and other saucy brown things.... I'm so not getting the Taiwanese curry obsession, you can literally get one at every restaurant. Why is this?

Sitting on a toilet while eating dinner was awkward enough but the piece de resistance...... it's all served in a toilet too.

Well, one has to try these things yes?

P.S In other interesting Taiwan news, recently a blogger was successfully sued for libel for writing bad things about a restaurant! Crazy. One must be careful hmm?
